I have been reading quite a few articles, tweets, and other blurbs online about the update that just came out. Most are praising it as faster and more responsive. A handful of reports have come out about bricking, and even some who were not able to reconnect to their carrier.
There is a big piece of this that I think many have not talked about. When I was reading about the update, from the pop-up iTunes places on the screen when I told it to check for updates, it says this update is for “Bug Fixes.” 249.2MB for Bug Fixes? Really? What else is going on here? How is it possible bug fixes take up almost 250MB?

Outrageous description of iPhone 2.0.1 Software Update
If you have had any problems with this update let me know. I am in the process of updating right now (aka: downloading the file, taking forever). I am curious about where all these patches are going and what exactly they are fixing.
